Top ATP pros return to Dallas for The Dallas Tennis Classic
The Dallas Tennis Classic is a new ATP event coming to the Dallas Metroplex beginning March 12, 2012. The event is sanctioned by the ATP, the principal organizer of the men's professional tennis tour. The Dallas Tennis Classic is conveniently positioned in the tournament schedule between the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, and the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne, both of which are mandatory events for the top 50 ranked players. The location that the Dallas Tennis Classic is replacing on the tour schedule for the past several years was located in Florida, and consistently saw draws including the top players as they prepare for the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne, Florida.
